Grounded is the new single by dreampop duo The Churchhill Garden, this time coming with a tendency for an uptempo sound.
The Churchhill Garden began as a solo act by Swiss musician Andy Jossi, releasing mostly instrumental tracks, and through online collaboration with vocalist Krissy Vanderwoude, also of the shoegaze band Whimsical, the project became a duo, always open to team up with other like-minded artists.
Grounded has in keeping the melancholic undertones which can be usually found in the sound of The Churchhill Garden, but it also comes more energetic and guitar-driven, bringing to mind plenty from nineties indie rock.
