Although they describe themselves as a "decidedly average band," Bristol four-piece Sugar Horse sound like they have a lot to offer, especially on account of the genre-blending nature of their work.
The Great British Death Cult is a standout track from the band's album The Live Long After which has also produced a few arresting singles. Longer song structures and a progressive way merges components from post metal, shoegaze and hardcore, leading to both intense and melodious moments.
The Live Long After is released via Small Pond Recordings.
