Norwegian musician Magnus Frodahl Sand attempts a paralleled but very different direction from that of his black metal project Myrvandrer. Under his own name the artist presents something more easily accessible which fits the shoegaze scene in all respects, mentioning Slow Crush and Nothing as equivalents.
Bioluminescence is Magnus Frodahl Sand's introduction to that dreamlike sound, recorded in a small bedroom in Norway. With the artist's heavier background noticeable, the track is an engaging shoegaze/dreampop piece, emotional in every way.
