Austin, Texas shoegaze band Blushing sign to Kanine Records, and are working toward the release of their next album Possessions. The album is scheduled for release on February 18th, 2022, and it features some A-list musicians, such as Elliott Frazier of Ringo Deathstarr and Mark Gardener of Ride on the production and mastering respectively. Miki Berenyi of Lush is included in the album's first single Blame.
Blushing and Berenyi collaborated on the song remotely, and the result suggests a smooth combination of two artistically likeminded acts, with a tendency for a classic shoegaze sound.
Blushing are composed of two husband and wife duos, Michelle Soto (guitar, vocals), Jacob Soto (drums), Christina Carmona (vocals, bass), and Noe Carmona (guitar).
