Former singer of Flaamingos (felte) Jerry Narrows created Deaf Dance in Summer 2017, a Los Angeles-based post punk/darkwave act with a distinguishing sound. So far their works include a full length and four EPs.
Deaf Dance's latest EP Illusion Above includes three tracks, one of which is an acoustic based version of Under The Milky Way, the celebrated track by The Church, originally from 1988. Deaf Dance treat the song with confidence, and deliver a work relative to the original with an even darker propensity. Deaf Dance's Under The Milky Way is following the pattern of their genuinely dark synthpop based on moody synths and dreamlike guitars.
