Washington, DC band Design Flaw release their first offering, the single Ghost which calls attention to their heavy sound and their composition, appearing to be elaborate and accessible at the same time.
Design Flaw mention influence from other genre-mixing acts like Alcest, Deftones, Failure, and TV on the Radio. Their own genuine sound comes off as a symmetry of opposite sensibilities like serenity and agitation, and it's full of emotion.
Ghost was recorded and mixed by Kenny Eaton at Mystery Ton Studios (Giraffes? Giraffes!, Scale the Summit, Time Columns), and mastered by Will Yip (Bartees Strange, Caspian, Circa Survive).
