Composed of members of Signal Hill and The Littlest Viking, London and Los Angeles-based shoegaze band Sky is Alright reveal a different part of their atmospheric and heavy sound with the acoustic EP, Sky is Alright Acoustics.
Including three tracks which were also parts of the band's self titled album from earlier in 2021, the new EP is a notable alternative to the transatlantic duo's craft.
Softer acoustic instrumentals and airy vocals take the place of the customary distortion and heavy guitars. A prominent example of that milder musical approach is Mistress Pessimist (Acoustic), one of the highlights in Sky is Alright's catalogue so far.
