French post rock band Bank Myna were created in 2013, and since then they have been constructing and expanding their experimental sound involving characteristics from a big range of dark music. VOLAVERUNT will be the band's first album, coming out on February 25th, 2022.
Aurora (Vi ska sova) is the first track unveiled from the album, a moody, ritualistic track with a complex compositional angle, and elaborate instrumentation filled with drone sounds and notes from experimental devices (clock bells, noise boxes), a creative model which also represents VOLAVERUNT in its entirety.
VOLAVERUNT is described by Bank Myna as "a monochrome album," and it was composed in an instinctual way, all at once, based on a single soundtrack.
