German post punk band Plattenbau return with the release of their third single ahead of their coming album. Shape / Shifting will be out on February 11th, 2022 via Dedstrange,
The band state: "Tutankhamun explores ideas of worship and monument building in the era of false idols and broken dreams; an anthem for post idealogical worship and for forgotten monuments that were never built."
Tutankhamun is based on a dense rhythm section that counters the heavy synths and the striking vocals, surfacing in a fervent manner. The song comes with a video of appropriately dark and raw visuals.
