New York-based darkwave band GHOST COP release new single and video YOU CAN NEVER GO HOME. The song is a dark synthpop number themed on a contemplative subject.
The band explain: "Exploring themes of “solastalgia” - the emotional distress that is produced by climate change irrevocably affecting one’s “home” environment. But it has come to take on further resonances with the events of the past two years, as well as our own personal experiences of aging."
The music's combination of darkness and vibrancy is matched to a vivid VHS-style video which GHOST COP directed themselves.
