Cousins Calle Thoor and Oskar Karlström's music making methods were influenced by the physical distance caused by the pandemic, as one musician lives in the east coast of Sweden and the other in Gothenburg on the west coast. However, Bolywool found new ways to create something in their familiar sound which also feels entirely new.
Bolywool's seventh album, Dead Reckoning, is set to be released by VÅRØ on March 11th, 2022. It's their first full-length since Darkly After, the Longest Day from 2019.
New single Bleíkur, together with its instrumental b-side Lamb Holm, are bright and warm instances of euphoric shoegaze with dazzling moodiness.
