From Camden, London, four-piece electropop band Idle Youth combine lush synthesisers with big bass patterns and vibrant percussion to create a unified whole, influenced by eighties new wave, post punk and synthpop.
New single Enter/Desire is a sincere piece which tackles the interesting subject of how difficult it is to discover, maintain, and leave behind relationships in today's world. Through glittering synths, a flowing bass line, and delicate vocals, the song expresses a frank kind of melancholy and gentle positivity.
Enter/Desire is the band's first offering for 2022 and part of a soon to be released album.
