Placelessness by R. Missing

Darkenin Heart

R. Missing are New York-based vocalist Sharon Shy and musician Henry "Toppy" Frost, formerly of The Ropes. The intriguing act is making a case for exceptional noir pop with their new release Placelessness and Saturnining, out on Sugarcane Recordings.

The new EP is composed of two original tracks and respective remixes from Pilotpriest (aka Anthony Scott Burns, an award winning filmmaker, visual effects artist, musician, and composer) and The Field (the experimental alternative/electronica project of Alex Wilner).

A synthpop song which has a forlorn tone to its charm, Placelessness demonstrates the duo's musical intricacy while also imparting a powerful sense of nostalgia.

Sugarcane Recordings has been home to artists such as David Lynch, John Foxx, Clint Mansell, Sin Cos Tan, Com Truise, Gazelle Twin, Hercules & Love Affair, Hot Chip, GusGus and The KVB among many more.
