Hotel Hades is a studio project created during the pandemic by a few friends with hip hop, electronica and lo-fi beats backgrounds. The goal of the new act was to produce a proper homage to their shoegaze, goth and darkwave inspirations. Their single Shoes is a simple creation which represents the project's aim to produce something that none of its members had done before in terms of sound and style, without becoming overworked.
Each of the four artists provided a section, which was sequenced, mixed, mastered, and released in 2022 as part of LATE BLMR Records' relaunch.
A plain song with a timeless concept, Shoes is about placing oneself in another 's perspective to experience their anguish. The video that goes with it details a story that connects everything together.
