Not Sinking, Yet Floating by Oliver Beardmore

Darkenin Heart

Up and coming artist Oliver Beardmore releases the final single from his upcoming debut EP, the titular Not Sinking, Yet Floating. The artist draws inspiration from the shoegaze and dreampop forefront, and artists like Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive among others.

The follow up to the previous single Fiesta, the new song is a buzzing anthem which explores the difficulties of moving on from something wonderful. It sounds like a traditional melodic shoegaze pop tune that culminates in a Phil Spector-inspired wall of sound.
