Lakes Region is the side project of Peter Bridle who is also the guitarist of the Sydney-based noisy shoegaze band, Trillion. This musical identity represents the artist's more somber style, serving as an outlet for a more dreampop approach.
The project's second single, Echo, is a guitar-driven, atmospheric dreampop cut with delicate vocals and an overall feeling of indie pop aesthetics reminiscent of the nineties.
