New York-based post punk band Catcher released five singles in 2021, their first year as a group, including Yesterday's Favorite, The Skin, Only Advice, Fallen Stones, Comparing Saviors and Friends. They have finally released their much awaited first album, The Fat Of A Broken Heart, ahead of their scheduled US tour with fellow NYC rockers Been Stellar, as well as their participation in SXSW and the New Colossus Festival.
Fallen Stones, an established fan favorite, shines out as one of the most distinctive pieces of Catcher's craft, featuring their songwriting boldness together with superb production. It is indeed an infectious listen for enthusiasts of fresh and innovative post punk.
