Chalk Hands, a Brighton-based post-hardcore band, have just released their first album album Don't Think About Death on Dog Knights Productions. If you disregard the outro, the album's title song is also the closing track, and it's a detailed listen with a massive finale.
Don't Think About Death features the customary intensity that the band has demonstrated in the past, and seems to be very affective, as it brings forth another well-thought-out synthesis of noise rock, post hardcore, and post rock traits. The song exemplifies Chalk Hands have to give with only a couple of lines of lyrics and a lot of musical audacity.
