China doll by Spaceland

Darkenin Heart

New band Spaceland, set on an island in the Baltic Sea, have surfaced with four singles and their first EP Fringe of a Dream, which was just published. They provide a hazy and noisy type of indie rock, as well as a broad approach to composing music.

The enigmatic act's members have roots in visual art, and they want to examine the sentiments of their music in a more direct manner, with a traditional instrumental setup and a DIY mentality when it comes to recording and production.

China Doll, the new EP's opener, is an atmospheric dreampop song with breathy vocals and a general appealing ambiance.
