Following the introduction of their first album Admire with the lead single Pls, You Must Be a Dream, LA-based duo GHXST have released a new track titled Marry The Night, together with a singular video which moves with the times.
Shelley X's trademark soft and moody vocals resonate across distorted guitars as the track begins with a hypnotic ambient motif that progressively develops into harsher regions. Furthermore, Marry The Night becomes a highly appealing listen amid its gloom.
The video is a collection of stories captured on iPhone by friends of the band. Scenes move between New York, New Orleans, Palau, and Los Angeles, and while there is no plot, the melancholy of the black-and-white visuals paints a fascinating picture.
