Following his self-titled debut album in 2017, Dion Lunadon (The D4, ex-A Place To Bury Strangers) is set to release his sophomore full length Beyond Everything on June 10th, 2022 through In The Red Records.
Living And Dying With You is the first single, a dynamic garage rock track accompanied by an animated video produced by Mexico City animator Julián Name.
"Beyond your skin, beyond your screen, beyond what you think you know. What lies in this area? An area with no opinions, motives, sides or divisions. An area where governments and capitalists have no currency and the absolute truth reigns supreme."
On the first single Dion Lunadon says: “This was the last song written for the record. I think it’s a pretty romantic idea. ’Til death do we part' kind of stuff. The title says it all. I came up with the video idea as a straight narrative of the song. Julián and I decided to use animals instead of humans as the characters. Different species getting along and getting it on.”
Drums on the record were performed by Blaze Bateh (Bambara) and Nick Ferrante (The Black Hollies).
Lunadon will be touring with a full band in North America and Europe/UK throughout 2022, on some US dates supporting The Black Angels.
