Black Snow is the opening track and latest single from Swedish group Orochen's debut album Anthroposcenic, which is out on May 27th, 2022 via Suicide Records.
Anthroposcenic narrates the story of a civilization sinking farther into individuality and materialism over the course of eight tracks, as it explores the existence of humanity and man's sense of morality, how people live in connection to the nature, and the psychological implications of surviving in a consumerist world.
Black Snow captures the concept of a dystopian world in which nature has been destroyed. The pain of losing somebody pervades the story in this song, providing a haunting image. Orochen's explosive style is comprised of heavy sounds and superb production, as well as a fervent expression from the band, and Black Snow is a magnificent opening track.
