There's Talk is an Oakland-based electronic-bent dreampop band led by multi-instrumentalist Olivia Lee (vocals, synthesizers, production), together with collaborators Kellen Balla (production, programming, vocals), and Young Lee (guitar, vocals).
Lightleak is the group's most recent offering, a track which refers to the genuine effort of collecting up the parts of oneself after a traumatic strike. Introspective and joyful, the song focuses on an excess of flowing optimism.
"This song is about picking up the pieces of yourself after you've overcome something devastating. When you start to feel hopeful and see the light on the other side," the band say, and continue to describe the track as "encouraging, nostalgic dreampop for a younger self."
