Girl Called K is the second single from Icelandic singer Hákon Aðalsteinsson's forthcoming album The Death of Gunman and The Holy Ghost. The song is accompanied by a beautiful video shot in Joshua Tree and directed and edited by Lilly Creightmore.
The song, a desert rock ballad with psychedelic and country leanings, fits the album's overarching concept of fresh beginnings, with the title The Death of Gunman and The Holy Ghost referring to the conclusion of one chapter and the start of another.
Aðalsteinsson describes: "The song is about escaping your current situation, not matter the consequences or where you will end up."
