Whole by Haunted Summer

Darkenin Heart

Mixing LA-trademark harmonious psych-rock with an even more decadent stream of acoustic dream pop, song sorcerers – and husband-and-wife duo Bridgette Moody and John Seasons as Haunted Summer reveal the title track from the band's new album out June 21st, 2022 on LaunchLeft.

The band's luxurious dreampop style is exhibited on the new album, which was recorded with renowned producer Be Hussey. Whole (A Song for Taylor) is about Moody's lifelong friend and former bandmate, Taylor, who passed in 2018. The album is about realizing a person's full potential through grief, loss, and love, which has become even more meaningful in current times.

Whole (A Song for Taylor) comes with an impressive 360 video created by Vinyl Williams.

The band comment: "Vinyl Williams who has also worked with Tears For Fears and Unknown Mortal Orchestra created the 360 interactive world for “Whole”. We wanted the video to feel like another world or place you go to beyond this one. It took over 6 months to complete. Vinyl after collaging dozens & dozens of landscapes & structures together was able to make a single shot sequence. It's one of his most expansive and biggest landscape videos to date."
