Portland-based post punk band Darkswoon will release their new album Bloom Decay on September 14th, 2022 via Icy Cold Records. The band's multifaceted style, centered on post punk, shoegaze, dreampop, and electronica, is expressed in Eaten by Wolves, the first single from the full-length album which also has a a punchy sociopolitical message.
The song, written during the confirmation of a specific Supreme Court judge, focuses on how the bodies of individuals who are not cis males are politicized and controlled. More urgent than ever in current times, the new single is presented as an artistic portrayal of thoughts prompted by the prospect of human rights unraveling.
