The joyful, optimistic, and creative indie music which Chinese American Bear produce has a dreamy atmosphere and is influenced by their Chinese roots. They are a nostalgic bedroom pop duo with an inventive and mesmerizing sound.
The duo's self-titled first album's final track is 再见 (Goodbye). In this peppy number the band is saying their goodbyes to friends and family, making an exit in a creative way. It's the perfect album-closing track and suggests that Chinese American Bear is bringing things to a close, or perhaps simply the time period represented by their debut album.
