Hamburg-based synthpop duo Kraków Loves Adana, led by songwriter and producer Deniz Çiçek, release their version of the classic Bon Jovi track It’s My Life from 2000. This new version of the popular song, surrounded in a dark electronic presentation, smoothly sounds like one of the band's original tracks.
Deniz Çiçek comments: “I wanted to cover this song for a while now. After finishing the work on my upcoming 7th album, I finally found the time to interpret the 2000 Bon Jovi classic with a dark disco version. We live in a complicated world right now and I felt empowered by the universal message of the song, to be in control of your own life, make your own choices and be your most authentic self.”
Çiçek's somber vocal is at the foreground of the song, which arrives in an unexpected way to give the famous song new life.
