Death in a Hallway by Vision Video

Vision Video, the Gothic post punk quartet from Athens, Georgia, have released their latest single and video, Death In A Hallway, from their upcoming sophomore album Haunted Hours, which will be released on October 11th, 2022, and have announced a fall US tour in support.

The song is a reflection on the unnecessary deaths caused by misleading information and poor leadership during the pandemic. The accompanying video was filmed in an abandoned hospital.

Songwriter/guitarist Dusty Gannon comments on Death In A Hallway: "I wrote this song at the peak of the Omicron wave of Covid. It was a really bitterly cold winter and at my day job as an Atlanta Fire Department EMT, we were inundated with transporting severe Covid patients to the hospital. I was intensely frustrated, because despite the preponderance of scientific evidence of the vaccine’s safety and efficacy, an overwhelming majority of those critical patients were unvaccinated."

Gannon is united in Vision Video with Emily Fredock, a classically trained pianist, on keys and vocals, Dan Geller (I am the World Trade Center) on bass, and Jason Fusco (Shehehe) on drums. Tom Ashton (The March Violets), who also produced the band's debut Inked In Red, returned to produce the new album.
