Echolalia by Faetooth

Darkenin Heart

Faetooth is a four-piece doom metal band based in Los Angeles, California, working toward the release of their debut album Remnants of the Vessel, due out on October 28th, 2022 from the eclectic Los Angeles-based underground label Dune Altar.

The first example of the band's new work is Echolalia, a daring and expansive single based on the folklore of the Tower of Babylon that exists between swarming heavy sounds and solemn lyricism. The new track shows the band's progress from their first EP ...An Invocation from 2019, and it is the first song they created since then. It's also the upcoming album's opening track, hence it sets off the release to an imposing beginning, demonstrating the quartet's weightiness and their dark colours.

Faetooth's music draws from concepts of individuality and the physical environment, and all of the riveting big questions that come consequently.
