Lime (Elliott Frazier Remix) by Lucid Express

Darkenin Heart

In 2015, years before Lucid Express released their self-titled debut album on Kanine Records in 2021, the same group of musicians teamed as Thud and released the 5-track digital EP Floret. Due to the turbulent situation that occurred in the following years, the distress and the heavy political climate in Hong Kong, one such dejection stretched to the music scene, and in addition to the canceled shows and stagnant releases, Floret went off the radar.

Lucid Express has released the single Lime and its equivalent remix by Ringo Deathstarr's Elliott Frazier from the upcoming 12" vinyl reissue of the Floret EP, which will be available on October 21st, 2022.

Elliott Frazier's Lime remix adds a tough element to the EP's opening track, taking on a different instrumental approach, grittier and more intense.

Floret is being released on vinyl for the first time, fully remastered, repackaged with new artwork, and expanded with remixes from some of the band's favorite artists, including Elliott Frazier, Orchin, For Tracy Hyde, The B.V.'s, and Max Bloom from Yuck.
