Cult Sequence is a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based four-piece rock and post punk band that started in the summer of 2021. Adam Tucker, famous Minneapolis studio owner and operator, recorded their debut EP Vesta at Signaturetone Recordings, and it will be released on September 15th, 2022.
Mannequins, the first single from the EP, combines somber intensity with a nice atmosphere, as well as affective and gloomy vocals with tuneful melody. A dense instrumental profile is made of powerful bass, massive drums and guitar notes merged with reverb and fuzz, while rich gothic synths produce foreboding balance, all smoothly connected together.
