Tapetown Sessions: Bambara

Originally from Athens, Georgia and currently based in New York, Bambara have proved themselves as an emerging and consistent act in modern post punk and noise rock. They're also gaining a reputation for their live performances, as evidenced by their new session at Tapetown.

Bambara's session sounds sharp and fascinating, recorded at the Grapehouse Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, with their dark tones fairly obvious in the two songs they delivered. The goth rock-prone Mythic Love and Birds are both included in their acclaimed recent six-song EP Love on My Mind.

Bambara have established that they are a band that is increasingly dynamic, and each new release, combined with impeccable live sessions like this, seem to be supremely satisfying.
