Moving Now Now Now by Bitumen

Darkenin Heart

Bitumen from Melbourne, create electronic-based synthpop and post punk music, based on an instrumental footing of guitars, synths, samples, electronic drums, and conversely forceful and wistful vocals.

Cleareye Shining, out from Heavy Machinery and It Records, is the group's sophomore album, following up 2018's Discipline Reaction, and it displays the band's even more expansive sound. The album has been released since late 2021, and the third video and single from it is Moving Now Now Now, which highlights the band's varied artistry and their expressionist qualities.

The clip was produced by Jenny Branagan and Andrea Blake, and edited by Bitumen’s own Bryce Maher, and it features mysterious figures battling in chess, with designs of Hollywood Regency stylization. Kate Binning of Bitumen stars as the femme fatale, engaging in a choreographed performance that recalls old musicals.
