Pressure by Heaven Slept

Darkenin Heart

Heaven Slept is a new band from South Georgia, composed of Weston Rogers (bass, vocals), Alan Sifuentes (drums, vocals), and Anna Taylor (guitar, vocals). The band has been introduced with their first material, recorded this summer and being released gradually.

Pressure is the newest single by Heaven Slept, a dark and sombre piece which leans more on the trio's post punk aspect. It also comes with a very creative and unnerving visual.

Heaven Slept comment: "This song was written in reaction to losing our original vocalist. We decided to turn to a darker faster sound instead of the dreamy aesthetic we began as. We pull lots of influence from bands like Joy Division, Bauhaus, and Siouxsie & The Banshees."

As evident in their debut singles, Heaven Slept competently fuse shoegaze and post punk. In the near future, more of their music is anticipated.
