Based in London, Nothingheads formed in 2020, and come up with a noisy sound that pulls inspiration from the most discordant aspects of noise rock, post punk and doom. 3000 Years in Showbusiness is the band's new single out from Just Step Sideways Records. This is the first in a chain of new tracks which come ahead of the band's upcoming new EP.
The song was recorded by Wayne Adams (JOHN, USA Nails), and it's a fuzzy and vibrant track full to the brim with harsh realities and energy, pointing to the world's disingenuity and political disarray.
The band comment on the accompanying video: "From the ancient colosseum, to casinos, cockfights, porn and reality TV, there’s always been a need to entertain and be entertained, as long as eyes are watching and money’s coming in. So we tried to make a non-linear video to loosely explore that theme."
