Foam and Sand, the side project of prolific electronic artist Robot Koch, has released the new single Circle 34. Foam and Sand creates a minimalist sound with tape loops, creating a cyclical energy that pervades the music.
During the recent quarantine, the project began, restricted to the artist's home studio. Koch, who goes by several monikers, initially began creating self comforting ambient music for his own sense of calm and as a form of musical therapy. These new pieces were shared exclusively on Instagram, along with visuals created by the artist, presenting a unique collision of colors, shapes, and sound.
