Upcoming band Heaven Slept release their sixth track in three months, continuing to showcase their exploration of post punk and shoegaze sound. New single Mantis seems to be taking a bit of a darker turn.
"The song is ultimately about relationships - the give and take, push and pull," the band reveal. "And the waiting, wondering and uncertainty between friends, partners, and family."
Extremely moody, Mantis reaches the borders of post rock, especially with its atmospheric development, and it's another compelling presentation from the fresh band.
