Shunsuke Abe began the one-member act aoihr (アオイハル、aoiharɯ) in 2017. The musician and videographer released the debut EP The Spring And Me in 2018 in which the project's dreampop and shoegaze sound was very well presented.
The dreamy September is the newest single by aoihr, a mesmeric and nostalgic track with a beautiful atmosphere that brings to mind more bands from the Asian shoegaze scene, and at the same time feels unique due to its experimental and atmospheric class.
"Like the last bite of cake, or the last small talk of parting lovers, this song expresses quiet happiness and sadness," aoihr comments on September.
