Treeline is the latest track revealed from Sacramento-based duo Venetian Veil, composed of musicians Jim Willig (Lament Cityscape, Audioemetic) and Susan Hunt. The song is part of the band's mini-album The Lands of the Living and the Dead which will be available via Dune Altar on November 11th, 2022.
Willig and Hunt began Venetian Veil in 2010 after both having been members of the experimental post metal band (Waning). With a new creative direction, Venetian Veil create a amalgamating sound which lifts from many different sides of underground music, such as post punk, shoegaze, goth and more experimental styles.
Treeline is a very enticing first offering for the upcoming release, in keeping of of that dark sound and refinement.
