New shoegaze band from Los Angeles, The Loud Bangs, have been very active in the last year, releasing a series of EPs. The band was formed in 2021 and already have 6 EPs out.
Alice Street (vocals, guitar), Daisy Gutierrez (guitar), Hannah Remley (bass), and Marcus Nemuro (drums) make up the Loud Bangs whose sound is based on lots of energy, with an artistic edge and punchy lyrics.
Candy Sometimes Always is from the band's latest EP Salvation Memorial Hospital. The song is a tuneful shoegaze/dreampop song with a psychedelic angle.
Jill GG, an avant-garde filmmaker based in Los Angeles, created the accompanying video.
