From the Bones of the Dead is influenced by Gretel and Hansel, more specifically the Oz Perkins film from 2020, whose aesthetic, photography, and music completely astounded Tess de la Cour. The title is derived from the witch's enchanting call, which lured Hansel to his death. It's about black magic and darkness attracting you into evilness.
With an unsettling post punk and darkwave sound, the song appropriately continues Memoria's dark trail.
