Dansish indie pop duo PRISMA successfully harnessed the strength of the beast on their cover of The Raveonettes' Bowels of the Beast. With perfect guitars, synths, and the synchronized vocals of sisters Frida and Sirid, PRISMA conjure up the full grimness and cinematic essence of the original.
The authentic version by The Raveonettes from 2002 had a somber groove which now has been modified into something new, and pushed into the present age.
From the upcoming covers compilation The Raveonettes Presents: Rip It Off, there are already tracks released by Trentemøller feat. DÍSA, Dave Gahan and Kurt Uenala and now PRISMA, and more is expected soon.
