Texan psychedelic rock band The Black Angels are the latest to reveal their own rendition of a track by The Raveonettes' album Whip It On from 2022. This new cover of My Tornado will be part of Crunchy Frog's upcoming compilation, The Raveonettes Presents: Rip It Off which also features Dave Gahan and Kurt Uenala, PRISMA, trentemøller and more.
The Black Angels adapt the song to fit their specifications and turn it into a psychedelic whirlwind of color and haze, creating a wholly captivating cover that gives the composition new life.
