DIVE is another highlight track from CANCEL THIS!, the latest album by Pennsylvania's Babel Map, a band self-described as "four witches from Harrisburg, PA."
Once again, a beautiful combination of melodic synths, fuzzy and regularly heavy guitars, fantastic drumming, and emotive vocals is achieved.
DIVE's narrative unfolds from the viewpoint of a vegetable, which opens the door to numerous analogies. The band's sound, which is strongly rooted in psychedelia, post-grunge, and shoegaze tones, and makes for a wonderful listen.
