Do You Believe Her, originally by The Raveonettes is covered by Anton Newcombe and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The new version, which falls somewhere in the musical spectrum between proto-punk and psychedelic rock, has managed to retain the spirit of the original while presenting it in a grittier lo-fi way.
The song is yet another excellent addition to The Raveonettes Presents: Rip It Off, a compilation that Crunchy Frog will release in the coming months.
This version has the distinctive personality of The Brian Jonestown Massacre written all over it and sounds like a more psychedelic version of The Raveonettes' indie garage rock sound.
