Australian shoegaze band, Futureheaven, have unveiled their latest single, asuka, completing their debut three-song EP titled Colourwaves. In line with their previous works, this new track is an atmospheric track that goes far into the dreampop side of the band's guitar-based style while still incorporating the fuzzy elements of shoegaze. The band continue to blend these elements, resulting in something melodic and immersive.
asuka is accompanied by a moody music video that effectively summarizes the heart of the band's sound visually. It serves as a faithful representation of Futureheaven's artistic direction and showcases their shoegaze aesthetics, as well as their palpable creative intentions.
