Of Tomorrow, the fifteenth record by The Telescopes and their fifth release with Tapete, showcases a significant departure from the sound of the band's recent works. Stephen Lawrie, the sole creator of the album, crafted it entirely at his studio in Shropshire.
Of Tomorrow introduces a complete shift in dynamics, presenting an appealing fusion of fluency and rhythmic density. The entire album is composed of uplifting rhythms and melodic hooks.
Each track on the album feels distinct and stands firmly on its own merits. Only Lovers Know blends the band's affinity for a more affable dreampop sound with a touch of psychedelia, resulting in a haunting composition.
