The comeback of Slowdive continues with the reveal of the third single from their anticipated new album, everything is alive which will be out September 1st, 2023 from Dead Oceans.
“This is the heaviest track on the record and as the name suggests we wanted it to feel like a big slab of music,” the band’s Neil Halstead comments on the new offering, the slab. “We wanted it to feel very dense.”
Accompanied by a beautifully crafted visualizer by Rena Johnson, the track aligns with the album's overarching visual style. From a musical perspective, the song is indeed very rich, melodic and solid.
