So Bored at Your Squat Rave by test plan

Darkenin Heart

Before their first headline performance at The George Tavern in London, the up-and-coming high-energy band, test plan, has unveiled their debut single So Bored At Your Squat Rave. This track was recorded and mixed by Darren Jones (Fat Dog, The Fall, Gorillaz) at the band's practice space in northeast London.

So Bored At Your Squat Rave narrates the story of an outsider who feels disconnected and frustrated within their surroundings. It is a punchy song characterized by pulsating dance beats, gritty basslines, sharp guitar riffs, and passionate vocals, all coming together to create a dark blend.

Drummer and vocalist Max Mason explains: “This song explores a character angry at the environment around them, the people, the drugs and how they feel. The ‘Squat Rave’ serves as a metaphorical vessel in the lyrics as a means for the character to direct their fear and anger.”

Crafting a sharp blend of intense noise rock, indie psychedelia, and post punk, test plan have already made their mark on the vibrant London underground music scene.
